We had an information stand at the festival on Friday the 7th and Saturday the 8th November.

For the 2018 Frankfurt marathon, “Team Asha Frankfurt” was a fundraising team as part of Asha for Education, Frankfurt Chapter. Through this, we wanted to encourage people – both new to the world of endurance running as well as experienced runners to help provide a better future for underprivileged children in India.

When participating in a sporting event such as this marathon, raising money for our charity and Global cause can be as simple as sponsorship. Just asking your friends and family to donate a small amount each can really go a long way.

We provided/organised :
• A marathon-training plan (specially for full marathon).
• Group runs (Saturdays/Sundays) and the opportunity to network with past marathoners and fellow runners.
• Seminars for running and sharing experiences of past marathoners.
• Fundraising tips.

The 100% of the funds raised went towards children’s education projects supported by Asha.

Keerthan Shetty did a Photowalk in Frankfurt, Bornheim. The Photowalk was targeted at photography enthusiasts and covered basics in digital photography (equipment, composition, workflow).

10.09.2016 Rotlintstraßenfest

Asha Frankfurt had a food and Henna stand at the Rotlintstrassenfest.

Thanks to Die GRÜNEN im Nordend who arranged the fest. And thank you everyone who visited our stall. With your support we have raised 515 euros which will go towards funding education project in India. We hope you had lovely day at the fest. We definitely enjoyed interacting with you and hope to see you all again next year.

Fairer Brunch, was an organic – fair trade all-you-can-eat brunch for 8 Euro
There was a cultural program with classical Indian dances. The brunch was organized by fair-ein e.V.
Asha Frankfurt held a presentation, a Sari show and contribute with some Indian dishes for the buffet
